Description
The Gold Standard of African Luxury
Add a touch of authentic South African heritage to your space with our AA-Grade Nguni Hide Rugs. While cattle naturally encounter thorns and insects in the wild, our AA-Grade selection represents the rarest tier of hides—those with the fewest marks and near-perfect symmetry.
Why AA-Grade?
- Pristine Beauty: Minimal scarring or blemishes in the prime center area.
- Superior Finish: A high-gloss shine and soft, dense hair texture.
- Expertly Tanned: Clean, natural leather scent with invisible, professional repairs.
Care & Maintenance
- Your Nguni rug is naturally durable and easy to maintain. Follow these simple steps to keep it looking pristine for years:
- Routine Cleaning: Vacuum on a low-suction setting in the direction of the hair. Do not use a rotating brush head.
- Shake it Out: Occasionally, take the rug outside and give it a firm shake to remove deep-seated dust and debris.
- Spills: Act quickly! Blot (don't rub) spills with a clean, damp cloth and a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap if needed. Wipe in the direction of the hair.
- Avoid Moisture: Never soak the hide or put it in a washing machine. Please keep it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
- Rotation: Rotate the rug every few months to ensure even wear, especially if it is placed in a high-traffic area.
