This unique location offers breathtaking views of False Bay and Table Bay, often wrapped in clouds. The cool climate sea breezes, granite foundation, and strong minerality of the soil, enhanced by acres of fynbos, create an exceptional environment where nature performs its magic.
The name "Uva Mira" derives from Latin: Uva means grape, while Mira translates to wonderful, miraculous, and full of charm. Situated within the area widely recognized as the “Golden Triangle”, this vineyard is renowned for its noble grape varieties and production of wines of outstanding quality.
Description
Colour: Light crimson red.
Nose: Perfumed and mineral with savoury red fruit, cigar box notes, and a touch of oak spice.
Palate: A moreish and well-balanced wine, showcasing lovely poise and tension on the palate. It features a dry, powdery tannin structure that is both stylish and elegant. Expect lush red fruit, cranberries, beautiful mineral notes, hints of cedar character, and a slight tobacco leaf finish. This is a refreshing and vivid expression of Cabernet Franc.
