Description
Calcrete Chardonnay comes from the limestone-rich wine zone between Bonnievale and Robertson. The region’s terroir spans calcareous rock and dry, broken shale, both shaped by ancient marine deposits that fossilised long ago. The calcrete influence gives these Chardonnays a crystalline edge, with notes reminiscent of wet stone, a salty palate, and oyster-shell minerality, all showcased by a clean, unwooded style.
It pairs beautifully with oysters, fish, salads, and poultry.
