KWV Van Der Hum Liqueur

Over 300 years ago the original Dutch settlers in the Cape found that the climate and soil of their new Colony were particularly suited for the cultivation of grapes. They subsequently started making brandies and wine Which they also blended with local fruit and herbs. One particular drink that found special favor was one that was blended with very old brandy and tangerines-locally known as Naartjies.  So famous and sought after did this liqueur become that appreciative drinker named it after its original blender, Van der Hum.
